What autism assessors do at Clarity Clinic
Autism assessors deliver structured diagnostic assessments using ADOS-2, ADI-R, MIGDAS-2 or equivalent tools, alongside developmental history and functional impact mapping. Reports are written for accessibility - usable by the person, family and GP.
Who we're looking for
- Clinical psychologists, speech and language therapists or psychiatrists with ADOS-2 (or equivalent) training
- Clinicians grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming framework
- Comfortable assessing co-occurring presentations (ADHD, anxiety, sensory profiles)
- Strong report writing skills
Qualifications and registration
- HCPC, GMC or RCSLT registration
- ADOS-2 / ADI-R / MIGDAS-2 trained (research-reliable preferred for ADOS-2)
- Minimum 2 years' post-qualification autism diagnostic experience
- DBS Enhanced clearance
Responsibilities
- Conduct multi-source diagnostic assessments
- Produce diagnostic reports within 10 working days
- Liaise with families, GPs and (where applicable) schools
- Contribute to internal calibration and peer review sessions
