    FAQ

    The questions we hear most.

Direct answers about pathways, membership, the clinician network and how we work.

    01 - Getting started
    What is Clarity Clinic?
Clarity Clinic is a discovery and introduction platform for women's health. We curate a network of independent clinicians and practitioners, help you understand who does what, and introduce you to the person you choose. The clinical care itself is provided by that independent practitioner, not by Clarity.
    What is a Pathway?
A Pathway is a structured protocol that brings the right clinicians into the right order for your specific goal - for example, a Hormonal Optimisation Pathway might include endocrinology, nutrition, sleep and strength work.
    How do I begin?
Take the 13-question Health Assessment - it takes 5 minutes and recommends a personalised Pathway and clinician shortlist. You can also browse the network directly or speak to our team.
Which disciplines are on the network?
Twenty-plus, including psychiatry, psychology, nutrition, functional medicine, endocrinology, physiotherapy, osteopathy, sleep medicine, health and performance coaching, breathwork and more.
    02 - Cost & membership
    Is browsing free?
Yes. Browsing the network and taking the Health Assessment are free. Consultations are paid directly to clinicians at their listed rate.
    What does membership include?
Membership unlocks continuous clinician access, priority booking, included testing and coordinated protocol design. Three tiers - Essential, Performance and Executive - billed monthly or annually.
Does private health insurance cover sessions?
Some UK insurers reimburse consultations with independent clinicians. Each profile lists the registration body and qualifications you can submit with a claim. Check directly with your insurer and the clinician.
    03 - Quality & safety
    How do you choose clinicians?
We use our own experience in women's health to recommend independent specialists we rate. We talk to each clinician about how they work and who they help best, and we only list people we would send a friend to. Clinicians are independent practitioners responsible for their own registration and insurance, and each profile shows the qualifications and registrations they have given us.
    How is my data handled?
Personal data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is never sold. Free screening results are processed in-session and never stored. When you ask for an introduction, we share your enquiry with the practitioner you choose. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
What if I have a concern?
Email anna@clarityclinic.co.uk. Concerns about diagnosis, treatment or clinical records are best raised through your practitioner's own complaints process, because they provide that care independently. Please tell us as well - serious concerns affect whether we continue recommending someone.
    04 - Consultations
    Online or in person?
Both. Filter the network by consultation type. Many clinicians offer either, depending on the work.
    Who do I pay?
You agree fees and payment directly with your practitioner or their practice. Clarity does not currently collect payment for their clinical services.
Is Clarity Clinic itself a healthcare provider?
No. Clarity currently operates as a discovery and introduction platform. Practitioners listed through Clarity are independent and remain responsible for the clinical or professional services they provide.
    Does Clarity employ the clinicians?
Not generally. Clinicians listed on Clarity practise independently or through their own clinic or organisation unless a profile specifically states otherwise.
Does Clarity choose my clinician for me?
We can help you discover practitioners whose expertise appears relevant to what you're looking for, but you choose who you'd like to contact. The practitioner also decides whether their service is appropriate for you.
    How do I book?
Send an enquiry through a clinician's profile. They respond directly and you arrange your first consultation together.
    Can I change clinicians?
Always. There is no lock-in. Tell us what you're looking for and we'll help you find other independent specialists who may be relevant.
    05 - For clinicians & clinics
How do I join the network?
Apply via our For Clinicians page. You'll share your registration, qualifications and how you work. Most introductions take a week or two.
    What does listing cost?
Listing is completely free. There is no listing fee and no referral fee, Clarity takes no percentage of your consultation fees, and clinicians cannot pay for higher rankings or preferential recommendation. Clients contact you directly.
Can a clinic register multiple practitioners?
Yes. A clinic dashboard lets you manage every practitioner under one organisation with a single point of administration.
    06 - Crisis & urgent support
I'm in crisis - what should I do?
If you're in immediate danger call 999. For urgent mental health support, Samaritans 116 123 (24/7, free) or text SHOUT to 85258. Clarity Clinic is not an emergency service.
How do I contact the team?
Email anna@clarityclinic.co.uk. We reply within one working day.
