    Frequently asked questions

Is this a permanent role or contracted?

Most ADHD assessors join on an associate (self-employed) basis with a guaranteed minimum referral volume. Salaried options are available for clinicians taking on supervisory responsibilities.

Do I need experience with both adults and children?

No - we have separate adult and paediatric pathways, and you can opt into either or both based on your training and preference.

What assessment tools do you use?

DIVA-5 for adults, ACE+ and Conners for children, alongside developmental history and functional impact mapping. Reports follow a standard Clarity Clinic template aligned with NICE NG87.
