Part-time women's health jobs in the UK

    In short

Most private women's health work in the UK is sessional, which makes genuine part-time work far easier to find here than in acute NHS settings. Two or three days a week is a normal contract rather than a favour, and every role below publishes its pay.

Roles that are part-time or sessional by design, not full-time roles squeezed into fewer days.

What to expect from part-time work

Part-time healthcare work has a bad reputation because it is so often a full-time job on reduced pay. Sessional clinical work is different: you are paid for defined sessions, the list is sized to the session, and the admin is bounded.

That is why a large share of the clinicians who join us are doing so alongside an NHS post, a caring responsibility or a second specialism, and why we publish the hours and the session length on every listing.

    Common questions

Are there part-time women's health jobs in the UK?
Yes. Most private women's health work is sessional, so two or three days a week is standard. Every part-time role on our board publishes its pay and session pattern.
Can you work part-time as a nurse prescriber?
Yes. Remote HRT and menopause clinics routinely contract prescribers for one, two or three sessions a week.
Is part-time clinical work paid pro rata?
Sessional work is paid per session or per hour rather than pro rata against a salary, which for most clinicians works out better per hour worked.
