Health coach, menopause
Behaviour change coaching that runs alongside medical menopause care, not instead of it.
The short version
A remote sessional health coach role in menopause care paying £38 to £50 an hour. You support behaviour change in strength training, sleep, alcohol and stress, working alongside the medical team rather than in place of it.

Why this role exists
HRT solves part of the menopause picture. Bone density, muscle mass, sleep and cardiovascular risk need behaviour change, and behaviour change needs someone with time. Coaching attached to a clinical service is the version of this that is actually safe.
Who you would be looking after
Women aged 40 to 60 in perimenopause and menopause, mostly already under our medical care.
A day in the diary
- Six to ten 30 or 45 minute coaching sessions, self-scheduled
- Blocks of six or twelve sessions with defined goals
- Between-session messaging within agreed limits
- Monthly group supervision with the coaching lead
What the work involves
- Deliver structured coaching blocks around strength, sleep, alcohol and stress
- Hold women to goals they set, with genuine accountability
- Stay firmly inside coaching scope and route clinical questions to the medical team
- Track progress with measures that are not just weight
What we ask for
- Accredited coaching qualification, for example UKIHCA, EMCC or ICF
- Menopause-specific training or demonstrable experience
- Absolute clarity about scope of practice
What you get
- Referrals from our clinical pathways
- Medical backup for anything outside scope
- Group supervision monthly
What this pays, and why
Independent health coaches typically charge £50 to £90 an hour but spend a large share of their week on marketing. Our rate is paid on booked hours with the client acquisition removed.
How hiring works here
- You send your details. No agency screening call before anyone clinical has read them.
- A clinician from the relevant pathway calls you within five working days.
- A working conversation about how you would handle two real cases.
- Registration and references checked, then a start date that works around your existing commitments.
