    The pathway, step by step.

    1. 01

      Free check-in

A 2-minute clinician-designed screener. Tells you whether a full assessment is the right next step, or whether coaching / therapy fits better.

    2. 02

      Pre-assessment call

A short call with a clinician to review your history, confirm suitability, and answer questions before you commit.

    3. 03

      Diagnostic assessment

A structured 60–90 minute interview with a specialist psychiatrist or psychologist, using DIVA-5 or equivalent, weighted for adult female presentation.

    4. 04

      Written report

A formal report you can share with your GP, employer, or university. Includes diagnosis, subtype, and treatment recommendations.

    5. 05

      Follow-up & titration

If medication is right for you, titration is managed by a prescribing psychiatrist. Ongoing care can move to your GP under shared care.

    Who this is for.

Women who've spent years wondering whether "this is just me", who've been told it's anxiety or perfectionism, who've hit a wall in their 30s or 40s that their old coping strategies won't move.

Also: women whose symptoms have sharpened around their cycle or perimenopause, and who want the ADHD picture assessed alongside - not instead of - hormonal care.

    Ready when you are.

Start with the free check-in, or book an assessment directly. Either way, the next step is a conversation with a clinician - not a form in a queue.

    Common questions.

How much does a private ADHD assessment cost in the UK?

Prices typically range from around £900 to £1,800 depending on the clinician's seniority and whether follow-up titration is included. Our network sits in the mid-range with transparent, all-in pricing - no per-letter fees.

How long does the assessment take?

The diagnostic interview itself is usually 60–90 minutes. Report turnaround is typically 2 weeks. From first enquiry to written report, most clients complete the pathway within 3–5 weeks.

Is the assessment recognised by my GP?

Yes. Our clinicians are GMC- or HCPC-registered, and reports are formatted to NICE guidance so your GP can initiate shared care for medication where appropriate. Individual GPs and ICBs vary in their willingness to enter shared care - we're upfront about that.

    What about the NHS right-to-choose?

Right-to-choose lets NHS patients in England choose an NHS-funded provider for ADHD assessment, which can significantly reduce waiting lists. We'll flag right-to-choose providers alongside our private pathway on your pre-assessment call so you can make an informed decision.

Do you specialise in female presentations?

Yes. Our assessing clinicians have specific experience with adult female, inattentive, and late-recognised presentations, including the hormonal dimension. This is not a general-purpose assessment retrofitted for women.
