    Why this role exists

Nutrition advice for women's health has been colonised by supplement sales and elimination diets. PCOS in particular attracts more misinformation than almost any other condition. A registered dietitian with nothing to sell is a genuinely differentiated service.

Who you would be looking after

Women with PCOS, irregular cycles, preconception goals, and women managing weight change through perimenopause.

    A day in the diary

    • Four to eight 45 minute consultations, self-scheduled
    • Follow-ups at four and twelve weeks
    • Written plans that the woman can actually follow, not a PDF template
    • Monthly clinical group with the nutrition team

    What the work involves

    • Deliver evidence-based dietary assessment and planning for PCOS, cycle health and preconception
    • Address insulin resistance, iron and micronutrient status with actual testing behind it
    • Say clearly when a supplement has no evidence, which is most of the time
    • Work with our medical and psychology clinicians on shared plans

    What we ask for

    • HCPC registration as a dietitian
    • Women's health, fertility or metabolic experience
    • Willingness to work without commission-based supplement recommendations

    What you get

    • Rates published, paid monthly
    • No sales targets of any kind
    • Full admin and scheduling support

    What this pays, and why

NHS Band 6 to 7 dietetics equates to roughly £24 to £32 an hour. Private dietitians bill £60 to £120 per consultation but carry acquisition costs and unpaid admin. Our rate covers the consultation and the plan writing.

    How hiring works here

    1. You send your details. No agency screening call before anyone clinical has read them.
    2. A clinician from the relevant pathway calls you within five working days.
    3. A working conversation about how you would handle two real cases.
    4. Registration and references checked, then a start date that works around your existing commitments.

Questions clinicians ask about this role

    Do you sell supplements?

No, and we do not take commission from anyone who does. If a supplement is indicated you say so and the woman buys it wherever she likes.

    Do you fund testing?

We arrange and fund clinically indicated testing through our medical team, so your advice sits on real data.

    Can nutritionists apply?

This role requires HCPC dietitian registration. Registered nutritionists should look at the nutrition hub for other openings.
