What gut health specialists do at Clarity Clinic
Gut health specialists run thorough symptom and history assessments, interpret stool and breath testing where appropriate, and design phased protocols spanning elimination, repletion, microbial modulation and reintroduction.
Who we're looking for
- Registered dietitians, AfN nutritionists or naturopathic nutritional therapists
- Strong functional GI testing interpretation skills (GI-MAP, hydrogen/methane breath)
- Familiarity with FODMAP and other elimination protocols
- Confident referring complex cases to gastroenterology
Qualifications and registration
- Relevant registration (HCPC RD, AfN, BANT)
- Specific CPD in functional gastroenterology
- Minimum 2 years' clinical experience
- Professional indemnity insurance
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake and ongoing reviews
- Interpret functional GI tests and design phased protocols
- Coordinate with prescribers for antimicrobial protocols where indicated
- Track outcomes via validated symptom scales
