We publish claims about what our pathways achieve. Those claims need to be true, and the only way to know is to measure them properly, including the results we would rather not publish.
Who you would be looking after
No direct caseload. You work with anonymised, consented data across the network.
A day in the diary
- Outcome analysis across pathways, the core of the role
- Dashboard and reporting work for the clinical leads
- Equity analysis: who is not reaching the service, and why
- Quarterly outcomes report, published internally in full
What the work involves
- Analyse symptom change, treatment response and drop-off across pathways
- Build and maintain reporting the clinical team actually uses
- Run equity of access analysis and surface uncomfortable findings
- Support the research and informatics teams with clean, defensible datasets
What we ask for
- Strong SQL, plus Python or R
- Healthcare data experience and an understanding of clinical caveats
- Willingness to present a negative result clearly

NHS Band 6 to 7 analyst roles run £38,682 to £52,809. Health tech analyst salaries run £45,000 to £75,000. Our band is at the upper end of the sector range for a mid to senior analyst.
